I enjoy women's fiction, biographies, memoirs, and mystery/crime. But I read other genres as well.

I worked as a writer and then in the marketing field for several years before taking a creative sabbatical, venturing forth with a one-way ticket and no plan. A few months became a few years—and eight countries. Much of this time was spent on foot or in the saddle of a mountain bike, exploring other cultures and discovering the tucked away locations that I bring into my stories. I currently live in Portland, Oregon, in an old house with a story of its own.
