Lidhvaluet

Right now our library is pretty small, but they are building a new and larger library on campus. It should be ready by summer, and then we will have to move everything over. Right now I'm in the process of weeding out-of-date materials because I will be able to order new stuff when we move into our new building. I want the new library to have more focus on technology and plan to use a lot of databases and ebooks.

I'm a the librarian at El Monte High School. This is my first year in the library. I was an English teacher for two years. I love books and working with young people, so being a librarian is the perfect career for me. I'm excited to learn new things and build my skills in this profession.
