I have hundreds of books in my personal library, and I'm now building a Nook library. Some of my favorite authors are Richard Ford, Lorrie Moore, Philip Roth, and Thomas Wolfe. I read mostly literary fiction, but I'll read a good YA now and then to keep up with what my kids are reading.

I'm the author of "A Watershed Year," which is my debut novel. I'm also a journalist with many years at daily newspapers and websites. I love communicating with readers and would be happy to answer questions. I also love to read and discuss books.
