I discovered Science fiction when I was 11 years old, and it quickly became my favorite genre to read. When my husband and I got married, we married our personal libraries as well, and discovered we had more speculative fiction books than the local public library did! My recent reading has included books by Orson Scott Card, Michael Martineck, Sir Terry Pratchett, Claire McCague,and Julie E. Czerneda. I'm currently making my way through The Magicians (Lev Grossman), A Thousand Words for Stranger (Czerneda), and Good Omens (Pratchett and Neil Gaiman).

I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, and I now reside with my husband on the shore of Georgian Bay, Ontario. Since retiring from the high school classroom, I've been indulging my passions for writing, puzzle solving and collecting owls (but only if they have character).

Since 2012, I've had 11 books published, four of them novels, and I'm busier now establishing myself as an author of science fiction and fantasy than I ever was when I was teaching. Looking forward to connecting with some of my readers and sharing news and views.
