- Over mij
- My rankings relate to one thing: my compulsion to read it. Was it a pleasure to read, a downright joy to sit in a chair and turn the page? It would be inaccurate for me to say that a book of tragic content is a pleasure to read. But that kind of book can fascinate. It can call to me during the day and demand attention when evening arrives. My favorite books alter my brain chemistry--I become addicted during the reading and when there is no more--it's withdrawal.
