A few weeks ago I visited Longfellows Books on SE Division for the first time. The owner is a very nice man, and he gave me a green pamphlet: 2010 Portland Area Booksellers Directory. So many booksellers!!! I haven't even been to a quarter of them. Perhaps some of you can recommend your favorite obscure bookstores to me, as I'm rather new to the area.

On the slight chance that you haven't been there yet, Powell's Books is not to be missed. They have several stores in the Portland metro area, but the main store at 1005 W Burnside is the Mecca of used bookstores. The rare books room always makes me hyperventilate!
