I read this book a long time ago..like maybe late 80's..It was about a princess I think? she wanted a child so she went into the city and picked a sire of her liking. She then had men? or servants kidnap
him.He called her a flaxen haired wench.She stole his seed and I think she got pregnant and then set him free and that's all I can remember. I have googled and googled for years and can' t find it.
