Let's sort through the riff-raff that refuse to catalog their books and run with the cool kids and post what we are reading. I have to go to my shelves and pick out a new book since I just finished Mauro's "Baptism and the New Covenant."

Okay I decided on "The Resurrection of the Body in Western Christianity 200-1336" by Caroline Walker Bynum.

N. T. Wright's The Resurrection of the Son of God is utterly awesome. Even the first 70 pages regarding which I'd heard so many predictions of alleged dullness. ;)

That book is very good. The book I am reading is a bit too much on the liberal theology side and the author every once in a while goes off into neo-feminist nonsense, but she does at most times show a very acute concern for fairness.

Fooled by Randomness, by Taleb. Pretty cool so far. Tone is kinda like Postman, but the topic is more like Leavitt (or maybe Eco :)

Right now I'm working on The Existence of God by Richard Swinburne. I may not quite agree with everything he says, but dang if he doesn't do a generally good job anyway.

Trust me, DDW, it'll get worse. I ordered 20 more books the other day...

As for now, though, I'm currently reading Jesus the Seer: The Progress of Prophecy by Ben Witherington III.
