An online article arguing for the special pleasures of reading a play, distinct from reading other literary genres.

When I read a play, I always find myself reading it out loud. So I don't read them on buses! (Same with poetry.)

I don't read aloud to myself, but I do read aloud with my Other Reader. We're knee deep in another book, but maybe I should consider a play for our next title. It's slower going when reading aloud, the shorter length of a play could really be good for us.
