i want to know what everybody thought of it
me personally thought it was great but is wasn't like the others in ways......

I liked it, it took the story to a whole new level! I can't wait for the next one, which is already taking too long to come out!

I liked it a LOT! But... I agree w/ Dazzled_by_Edward. Compared to other books it was awesome! Then, in my opion, when you compare it to twilight it wasn't as good. But... I'm a fluff lover.

#3 My favorite part was when Edward and Jake had their little chat in the tent.

I love the book.....ALthough it made me hate Jake more that I already did and made me love Edward even more

omg how could anyone hate jake????? srry i do understand but seriously i still cant get over the fact that edward left bella and jake was there for her mayb its just me but i fell in love wit jake bcuz he was there for her. i kno both edward and jake would do anything for her soo really the choose is hard.

true true, that's how I felt about him. He's her friend, he cares.

I didn't like eclipse the mere thought of Bella thinking on Jake over Edward completely repulses me. I think Bella has lost her mind and I hope she finds it in the next book.

#6 How can you like Jacob? I mean, your right that he was there for her but I mean, Bella's in love with Edward and Jake's trying to steal her! Jacob is also way to strait forward. I just think that Bella needs to stay with Edward. I mean Edward left her for her own good and he was trying to protect her!

I'm still too pissed at Jared for leaving Bella on the mountain when Victoria came to like him very much. Bella asked him to stay and he left... (To go have some fun and kill bloodsuckers, too!)

Jacob is an easily liked character Faith! he is strong, nice looking and he LOVES Bella. he filled in her empty hole. i go on and on for hours about how awesome Jacob is, but i won't!

Yea, well everyone has their dark sides. Lets expose Jacob's first. ok, he is way to foward and acts a bit dumb in Eclipse and he well he is to foward. that is his main flaw.

Edward should of cared and known Bella well enough for him to leave her. if he had really known Bella, he wouldn't of left her. he would of understood how much bella loved him and how it would tear her apart for him to leave her. but he didn't care enough. he knew it would hurt, but he didn't care enough to come back. i personally think he put on a bit of a show trying to kill himself and all, but i dunno........

Edward doesn't have the relationship experience to know how Bella would react by his leaving. If you recall this is the first time Edward has been in love and he leaves as a self-sacrifice because it is what is best for Bella in his opinion. He's put her in danger by allowing her to be around him and if he stays she'll want to be a vampire and lose her soul (in his eyes.) These are things he can't stand. He doesn't comprehend that she will be in danger if he is there or not.

In the end, Edward sees that he was wrong. He comments about how Romeo was wrong in Shakespeare's play and that he was foolish and how could Romeo act so stupidly where Juliet was concerned. After returning, he realizes that he is no better than Romeo with his lack of experience in love.

I like Jacob, just not as much as Edward. And I feel that Jacob tends to be selfish--he's young, he'll learn.

okay so the whole thing about Edward leaving Bella: he left her because he thought he wasnt right for her and he thought she would be safer with out him. He didnt know how much it would tear her apart though. He left her because he LOVED her!! sometimes it just works that way.

No way would he necessarily have known that! First relationship...remember? It isn't like he has experience with all of this love stuff. (LOL)

Most of the time, even with true love life goes on when someone leaves. Because it has to. And eventually the pain becomes less. Until you can look back on it as a memory (not necessarily a fond one) but be happy with what you had, even though it's gone.

And anyway with out real pain and heartache we wouldn't know what real love is. If you live with only one emotion for all your life and you think it's happy, how can you know? You need high points and low points in order to show what your true emotion is. There has to be SOMETHING to compare it to.

Heck, absence makes the heart grow fonder!
