Bought one: Good and Cheap: Eat Well on $4/Day by Leanne Brown. She chose that dollar amount based on the US Food Stamp program. According to the cover, for every book bought, one is donated to someone who needs it. And the recipes look good -- easy enough and interesting, occasionally quirky.
