What are you hoping for from this instalment of the series?

It is most probably a bit of a forlorn hope, but I'd like to see smaller actions sections (sometimes feel it gets too frenetic and goes on for too long) and more dialogue between characters. Also hope there is less talking about the end of one mission and getting on with the main action for the book quicker. Think I enjoyed the earlier ones in the series more than th last couple. Also hope they will help me to add to my round the World Challenge.

These last couple have been more action-packed than the earlier Cussler/DuBrul books. I think that was apparent in our overall ratings. I like a good "shoot 'em up" and military thrillers but some of that actions scenes are a bit long (though still not as bad as Kuzneski's)

>3 bhabeck: I think on a balance I prefer Chris Kuzneski's books, but do agree that the action scenes can be too long. I much prefer Chris Kuzneski's Jonathon Payne and David Jones Series.

I also agree the action scenes are too long and too technical. I'm just looking for an adventure and a good time with the characters.

>5 EadieB: >6 Andrew-theQM: I wonder when the co-authors change if the technical stuff and the long action scenes will improve? Boyd Morrison wrote then beginning with #10.

>7 Carol420: I'm looking forward to getting to book 10, as I have really enjoyed the books Boyd Morrison has written on his own.

I'm eager to see what plot they can come up with this time.

Thought it best to shout out; sometimes it's easy to hit a link without thinking. You hear all sorts of scary tales...

Apologies the questions were a day late. The site was down when I went to put them on last night.
