C'mon there has to be more interest in the great pulp works...I'm a Doc Savage collector since the early 70's.
I'd be interested in hearing more about The Spider, a series I have never read but heard good about.

I've sampled The Spider; I picked up several reprints, but the over-the-top violence was too much for me, and I ended up giving those books away.

Doc Savage never quite clicked for me, but I've been a steady customer for the reprints of The Shadow novels by Anthony Tollin (up to about #140 now), even though I've not gotten around to reading most of them. From time to time I've checked out some of the other hero pulp characters as well — the Green Lama, Secret Agent "X," the Phantom Detective, Operator #5, etc. Though I enjoyed what I read, I found that I preferred the mix of genres in the more general adventure pulps, and I've begun collecting Argosy/Argosy All-Story Weekly and adding others when and as I can. I talk about the issues I'm reading, as well as other pulp stories that I tackle, on my thread in the 75-Book Challenge group (https://www.librarything.com/topic/303724), so you may want to stop by there, too.

I've not seen much other discussion of pulp magazines and reprints in general, save for the attention given to weird fiction in the group The Weird Tradition.
