How to create your book using Adobe In Design

Hi, I just started creating my children's picture book using Adobe In Design. I have illustrations done by an author and my text. Does anybody have any advice to give me on how to start the process or issues they've dealt with?

I find Indesign to be a bit of a pain to be honest when it comes to making books. What I can tell you is, anchor your pictures because they have a nasty tendency to shift around. Also, layers are a lifesaver because you will inevitably mess up, and it's easier to delete one thing than start over. Also, don't attempt to make an ePub file in Indesign, it's absolute garbage, at least when it comes to the reflowable format.
