I tried dividing the author David C Hay into two but encountered a problem. All the works listed under him are from the same author, except for Regenerative medicine, stem cells and the liver, which is by a different person. But when I go to the split the author page, I don't see the medicine book listed there at all. If I'm on the medicine book's page and click the author it takes me to the same author, but the book isn't there.
It's possible this is my fault. The book was listed on the author's page at first (that's how I found it in the first place). But I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing (I know, I'm sorry) and I separated the _work_ instead of the author. Now, I'm not sure what separating the work would have actually done, since there's only one edition of that book in the first place; if you separate it there'd be no editions left in the original entry.
Anyway, the medicine book seems to be in some kind of limbo now.

>1 RobertHay: I hit "recalculate author name" a couple of times on the David C. Hay page and Regenerative medicine, stem cells and the liver is shewing on it again. I've seen works disappear before, only to come back after a couple of recalculations.
