Any other non-religious conservatives here?

The conservative movement is a 'broad church'. The Left would like to paint us as all rednecked fundamentalists, but that's far from the truth. If, like me, you're a non-religious conservative, you might like to have a look here:

And you’ll find this site interesting as well: https://darwinianconservatism.blogspot.com/

I have much sympathy and some understanding of agnostics, skeptics, and the unchurched, but little for the hostility, ill-will, and malice of most atheists, who seek control without morality in the same way as communists, socialists, and anarchists. Can you cite good works by many atheists?

The conservative coalition is fragile, isn't it? I am planning to withhold my vote from my very conservative congressman for a single unexplained vote he cast differently from most social conservatives.

I'm reading some Thomas Chatterton Williams right now, and although he's not a conservative he seems to be respected by conservatives. So it's a little jarring to me to hear him say: ". . . promiscuity in itself is neither empowering nor disempowering, it simply is." I guess my response would be that maybe he's technically correct but that then the question of empowerment is not the most important one.

I'm also reading (the gay atheist) Douglas Murray right now, and so far he seems to be trying hard not to alienate any conservatives, but still that alienness is there.
