Group Read, November and December 2023: Nominations

Please nominate list books you would like to read to see out 2023. Please nominate up to two books but second as many nominated books as you like.

I will close nominations in about a week, with a run-off poll if more than two books are seconded.

Nobody else seems to be reading Melmoth the Wanderer this month! You all made a wise decision.
I will nominate The Information by Martin Amis, and Zeno's Conscience by Italo Svevo. ILf we choose the latter, I need to read that one in December when I will be in Italy (briefly).

I want to read it, I just over scheduled myself and won't get to it until the end of the month.

In the absence of seconders, but in the spirit of "If you build it and they will come" I will make The Information by Martin Amis and Zeno's Conscience our group reads for November and December respectively.
