Scholarly query: Augustin L'Andrei

Is anyone aware of either the author or the work: Augustin L'Andrei, Le Combat des Astres? A friend of mine used (or, as it might be, confected) a quote from the above for an epigraph to a long poem he wrote some time back. Sadly, the window of opportunity for posing the question to the author is shut.

The quote:

"I despise you for the decision. I loathe the foul force that created it. I envy that you lack the discernment to realize for what you have settled. I pity that someday you might know. I weep for all who, like me, have lost to it everything that matters. This is for those lost."
