In searching Library Thing I did not find a group for those of us who enjoy embroidery and needlework in the SCA time periods. So I started one!

Thanks! I'm not actually an active SCA member, but I embroider, spin, and weave (including tablet weaving), and have a deep interest in historic needlework. I hope you'll have me and let me learn along.

You most certainly are welcome! Welcome to the group!

I am a (at least semi-) active SCA member, and I do a little stitching and a lot of weaving/braiding/similar. Actually I do a lot of stitching but my favorite craft is (modern) cross-stitch, which is sufficiently non-period that I don't count it in any SCA context.
I have a few books marked SCA, but most of them are cookbooks.
Sounds like an interesting group, though!
