Yeah, I saw that and it ruined my whole day. Apart from his achievements in economics he has always struck me as such a kind and good-hearted guy. A few years ago he and his wife Rose were on BookTv and they were such an endearing couple.

I remember that appearance on Book TV.

Friedman always behaved like a gentleman. A loss for all of us.

Not too long ago, David Friedman, Rose and Milt's son, was in Portland giving a luncheon talk about the future of the Internet in relation to Intellectual Property. He spoke about this parents, of course, and in a warm and loving way.

Milt gave us so much to work from and toward--both as a thinker and as a person. I know I join countless others in honoring his life.

By the way, David's talk was incredible! I will try to recall it in more detail and recount a bit of it.
