I can't find any information as to whether it sold.

I'm not sure it was up for sale. It's a trust library managed by Sotheby's, but the comments in the video clip suggest that they maintain it for scholars' access. Then again, they comment on how they hope it ends up in a good home, so it's a little fuzzy.

Oh, it was definitely for sale, but with the stipulation that the library not be broken up.
