Comfort reading

I have been at a standstill in my reading lately, so I picked up Champagne for One and almost read it straight through. I love Stout.

I've also been watching the A&E shows again.

Does anyone know if Nero Wolfe books have been turned into audio books, and are there any good narrators of them?

Most of them seem to be available on Audible, although I haven't tried them. My wife gave me the entire A&E Nero Wolfe run for Christmas, and both my wife and my 10-year-old daughter have been enjoying them. Chaykin and Hutton are great as Wolfe and Archie.

I've listened to several of the audiobooks- about 6 so far. I found them both on audible and at my library. There are also some you can download if you poke about online. Audible is nice if you want to listen to them on an MP3 player, because (at least on mine) it will keep your place for you when you listen to something else, which other formats just don't do on mine. It is more expensive, though.

All the ones I've found so far are narrated by Michael Prichard, who is pretty good. His voice isn't what I imagined for Archie, but that might just be me, and I've gotten used to it anyway. All in all they're worth a listen.

If anyone knows about other recordings than the ones with Prichard, I'd love to know.

If you have a tape player, there are devicess that will connect it to an mp3 player. I use one with my ZuneHD. Try googling on "cassette to mp3 converter".
