Ok!!!

So I hated that Finnink died!!! I really started loving his character.

And I couldnt love Peeta like I did the other two books.

I wrote this in my reveiw for the book...but i dont know how to do that link.

So you guys should go to the MockingJay book and find the review by me.

I was heartbroken at Finnick's death too. I didn't really like him, and his annoying teasing, but he kinda grew on me. Especially Anne came into the scene.
I felt a lot of pity/hate for Peeta, but I've been convinced by Katniss's decision
I shall go read ur review now :)

I loved Finnick and his little teasing! i thought he was funny!
I know and at the end when she has the baby! so sad!

I felt bad Peeta but never really felt hate towards himbecuase of the whole hijacking thing.

I never really forgave Peeta, so I think she should've chosen Gale.
Oh, and I didn't like Mockingjay that much. The beginning was really boring, and once Peeta attacked Katniss, that was it, I quit the book.

Peeta didnt do anything though. it wasnt his fault.

I was heartbroken that she didn't choose Gale too...they were, like, PERFECT!
Oh, poor Gale.
And he doesn't even get Madge.
But he was right. Katniss choose the one she felt she "wouldn't be able to survive about". Peeta. (Although, what about him can't she survive about?? His bread?) OK,OK, so he represents the dandilion in the spring. Big deal.

I think she can't live without gale because he's like her brother. Peeta, on the other hand, well, she would've never met him had Katniss would've watched Prim die, and guess what, her life would go on, with GALE

are you still arguing it!! but she did meet him and fell in love with him..so there.

But, she could live without him.

I know! maybe we should have a writing 'contest' of sorts...in the summer or something....because i cannot find enough time to get on LT, let alone write a whole story...

Hmmm..

I think she would not have been able to live without him (sorry Booklover287!), because, remember when she says that Peeta gave her that bread? She acnowledges that it saved her (and her family's!) life/lives. So she would not have lived had it not been for that bread he gave.
Would she have gone on living had she not re-met him? Probably. She would just have come back, lived on with Gale, and he would/might live with her. And they would fall in love.
But they would naver had had children. And the capitol would still exist. I mean, it still DOES, but not like before.

So I think it was all for the best.

I wish Prim hadn't died. I think it was kinda unnecessary. Prim dying? That did everything.
i think she chose Peeta because he understood. About people dying. Loved ones dying. And Gale didn't necessarily know THAT.
Also, there's the whole thing about the bomb that blew up Prim being made by Gale n all....i mean, if I loved someone, and they invented this bomb, that later caused my little sister, or older sister, or little brothers' death(s), i would probably go berserk at that person. Amd chances are, i would not want that person to be my partner-for-life. You know?

I'm here! its just been crazy around here! I have been so busy! I WAS SO MAD PRIM DIEDDDD!!!!!

i was more upset when finnick died...i didnt really care about prim.

not sure but then again i can get on whenever....even though i started a college while in highschool.

It was irking that they didn't really have a burial or whatever. Ceremony in honor of all the brave souls that died.

I didn't like that Finnick's death was so quick. I mean it wasn't very epic like it should have been. And I cannot believe Prim died! She was one of my favorite characters. But my favoritest character is Rue.

i thought his death was epic, i meanhe got his troat ripped out by mutant dogs(or whatever they were) but it was quick. its like o dang hes dead, lets move on.

Finnick was my favorite only in the third one though but in the second one was really funny!! But overall Peeta was my favorite.

Finnick is my sister's favorite guy character. I got both of my sisters to read the books. :)

Heck yes! it's awesome! the first book is a little boring at the beginning, but it gets exciting a couple chapters in. the last book is the best

i couldnt believe prim died cuz that was the whole reason katniss was in T.H.G.
peeta was stupid in mocking jay but i still love him way more than gale
the whole pres snow thing was perfect with the poison and the laughing to death

so yah.....

harry potters great but it gets old....especially when you have friends who are way to obsessed with it.....cough cough 93_Diagon_Alley.....
doby is the best caracter but dont get too attached to him.....

I still don't like how Katniss and Gale broke off their friendship.

I don't like it, but I think it was kind of automatic on katniss's part. I mean gale made the bomb that killed her sister. And he wad getting kinda cruel and harsh all through mockingjay. "We're just playing by the same rules as President Snow." Honestly! If your playing by his rules, you might as well join the Capitol. End of rant.

AND... back to harry potter... cough cough Katniss_Mellark...
Anyway, yeah harry potter is amazing. don't quit after the first chapter of book one, cuz that was honestly the worst chapter of the entire series. The writing is amazing from the beginning but you can just see how it improves so much going through the series. so yeah. read the series.
And btw, George Weasley is the bet character. Uh huh.

i liked how gale and katniss split up. but i dont think him making the bomb that killed Prim really mattered. I mean i know i would have been pissed!! and sad but he was just trying to help and didnt know prim was going to be there. But he also was starting to get a little "kill happy".

The end of the last book convinced me to join the ranks of the Peeta supporters, partly b/c Gale wasn't....Gale. And also because of what Katniss said: she needs the dandelion in the spring. And its true that only Peeta truly understands the horrors of the Hunger Games.

i also hate how sudden katnisses mother left her and gale left too....
the whole ending of mocking jay was sudden.... it could have been dragged out way more.... and i wish that the ending part about katnisses kids and annies kid had been better, longer and more desciptive.....

She left Katniss to go be a doctor/nurse and Katniss really didn't need her at that time... I think it's ok that she left. It would have been nice of her to SAY GOODBYE, but other than that, dying people needed her. She is forgived.

you know whats kinda funny? one of my best friend's (more like sister) middle name is Irene.....
I think i will change my real name on my profile to Irene.....

katnisses mom would have let prim and katniss die after there father died......
and still how would you feel if you had a sister who had just died and your mom decided to leave you? It would have been nice for katniss too have some support from her mom after all that.

Katniss' mother wasn't there for her or Prim when her father died. And her mother barely ever visited her after Prim died. I think it would have been nice if they had at least tried to repair their relationship since they were the only ones left in their family.

no i thought it was good. her mother doesnt deal well with death...so why would she try to build a relationship with katniss. it would be too hard on her to look at katniss it would just remind her of prim.

Good point.
If Katniss reminded her of Prim and she was around Katniss a lot, she might go into the state that she went into when her husband died. And that would make it harder on her AND Katniss.
It would have been nice for Katniss maybe to have seen her before they went their separate ways, but all in all, I think it's better that they're apart... at least until their emotions settle.

I think that Irene is right, I think it's kinda sad that Katniss and her mom are so far apart after the whole thing. I really hoped that they would live next door or something so her mom would have Katniss to care for her

Katniss' mom... Well she abandoned Katniss after her dad died then when they were getting a relationship back before she went to the games then abandoned her again after Prim dies. she seem selfish. I mean if one of my kids were to die I would want to cherish the one I still had and not act like she died to. Katniss provided for her for the longest time, when she should have been providing for her. And during that she practically stole Katniss' innocence and never let her have her childhood. just what i think.
