Hong Kong Public Libraries - Sheung Shui 上水公共圖書館

This community library is somewhat hidden amidst a labyrinth of buildings clustered around the town centre and Sheung Shui rail station. You must navigate around the Wet Market, the North District Civic Centre, and a few shopping centres to arrive at the Shek Wu Hui Municipal Services Building, within which the library resides on the third floor above a food court on the floor below.

A small library, but stocked with many standard classic titles in the English fiction section and a good literature reference section but a bit skimpy on new fiction titles.

Not too much table space outside of the newspaper room, so study on your knees in a chair, if you find an empty one, all of which are positioned at the end of stacks and pleasantly facing the windows, or sneak into the children's section and use the little kindie-size tables there.
