Pikes Peak Library District - Penrose Library

I recently moved to Colorado Springs and haven't used a library in years, partly because I seem to have some difficulty with the "returning books" part, but mostly because I'm disappointed with collections. The Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) is OUTSTANDING. Their website and network of libraries mean I can I put a "hold" on almost any book I want (so far I've searched for one book I failed to find. Otherwise 99% success) and say where I want to pick it up. They send me an email when it's available. This service means I am now, once again, a devout library user. I keep a list of books I want for my personal collection after I've read the library copy. I take my list to the used bookstores in town and see if any of them are available. No rush, since I've already read the book thanks to my handy local library. This has saved me so much $$$! And bookshelf space, since I'm currently completely out.
