Evan is in the hospital after being shot on the job. His ex, Dixon, comes to the hospital and tells him he is coming home with him for Christmas. Evan turns him down. Dixon keeps coming. He even brings his mother. Evan is adamant about not going with Dixon. Dixon persists, telling him the truth about the past. Their attraction is too strong for Evan to hold out any longer. Will it work out this time?

I enjoyed this story. It was a little disjointed at times as it felt like some of the story was missing. I liked hearing Dixon say he was a poor eavesdropper then telling the truth about what happened 10 years earlier. I enjoyed watching Dixon wear down Evan to get him to come to his home for the holidays so he could finish recuperating. Bringing his mother was brilliant. She was a blast as she ignores Dixon and focuses on Evan. I was happy with the ending. ( )

Very sweet, short and nice holiday story. The explanation was funny in a way though, that he misunderstood eveything. ( )

Dix, Dix, Dix! I would have bought into this story more had the reunion occurred before the "Big Reveal".

But, as always, I enjoyed Ms. Calmes writing style. :) ( )
