This book is more than an album as each photo has some commentary. The photographs come from 1860 through 1910 and are of women, children and men alone or in groups. The commentary follows the changes in fashion and revolution in women's clothing against the restrictive garments of the 1870's which resulted in the looser, lighter fashions of the Edwardian era. ( )
