Mr. Frumble is a pig, and as he leaves his house on a blowy day -- hat atop his head, he has not idea the adventures that his hat will have. The detailed pictures will easily clue readers in to the words and add context that such a simple text does not provide. As Mr. Frumble follows his hat as the wind takes it, he warns the grocer not to sell it, the birds not to make a nest in it, so kids may enjoy the humor. This addition serves its purpose to help kids be successful in early readers. ( ) Richard Scarrys Be Careful, Mr. Frumble! is a wonderful children's book that uses only 47 different words. The predictable text and repetitive text are wonderful for early readers. It also has many colorful illistrations and vocabulary words to discuss and even cut out from the back of the book! It is about a pig, Mr. Frumble who goes for a walk and puts on his hat, only to have it blow away in the wind. He races all over town to chase his hat and finally gets it back after jumping into the ocean! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
