I really enjoy books that are bilingual, but I didn't really enjoy this one. It is a very short book that has pretty advanced Spanish in it. I thought it would be more useful if the book used more basic words for students who are just learning to read and count, to keep them engaged. I guess this book would be good for an adult just learning spanish, but I am not quire sure they would learn much from it. Still, it would be useful for bilingual students learning to count in my future classroom. 1,2,3 Sí! Is an excellent way to introduce anyone to counting in both English and Spanish. It provides many visual examples such as one guitar that are then written out in both languages (ex. One guitar, una guitarra). Each page also provides a question in both languages such as 'How do you make music?' or '¿Cómo haces música?'. The level of interaction this book encourages is perfect for anyone either learning the basics of counting or trying to learn a new language entirely. The fact that it is a board book also is a plus as the optimal time to learn multiple languages is in the first few years of life. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
