In the first novella, Dante comes off as a bit of a jackass. In Final Affair, Dante is not the big jackass that he was. He's immediately gentle and kind with Viola. I thought the personality change was a little odd. I guess it takes the right woman to bring the best out of a man. Although I enjoyed the romance between Dante and Viola, I felt that this novella lacked some of the heat that was in Raphael's book. It's a good quick read.
