Damon is like a bored tiger in a cage, life is always the same. Crew uses surrealism to show that imagination and creativity can awaken Damon's life. I wondered when Damon is on the Zebra crossing if it represents his parents letting go, Damon finding out what posses his current interests (gaming is only a half life) is boring and when he awakens with imagination he will be possessed by something new? On holiday with his parents, fifteen-year-old Damon is bored. His parents drag him to an art gallery, but after cruising around for a while, he returns to his hotel room to play his gameboy. Bored by the repetitive nature of the games, he falls asleep. But it is then that the artwork Damon has tried so hard to ignore comes to life, even going so far as to affect his reality. When Damon wakes, he is altered by the power of creativity, which even he can no longer deny. Geen bibliotheekbeschrijvingen gevonden. |
