This book would be perfect to use as a read aloud in a science classroom before going over habitats because it goes through different animals and where they live. This book has beautiful realistic illustrations, and doesn't take too long to read. I think children would enjoy flipping through the pages to interpret what they see, and where/how animals live in that habitat before reading the text. ( )
