It was a fun, quick read. :) And now I only have 52 more books to go in the challenge. ( )

Mavericks of Space by Sasha White is a quick, easy read, that’s full of erotic heat.

Tyla is from a planet out of Earth’s solar system. Max is a deaf, former Coast Guard officer.
They meet in a bar, have a drink, go to the alley and kiss and…

Max has no idea where he is or how he got there. He’s naked, in a strange place. A door opens and a man appears. Max has a lot of questions but Jason doesn’t have time to answer them. He’s busy being choked.

Tyla comes in and orders the release of Jason. When Max refuses, the ship called “Ghost” transports Jason elsewhere. With no shield and no clothes, far away from Earth, where will Max go? Why is he here? Tyla begins to answer some of the questions Max has. She is from a planet called Triton…where women are in charge and men are treated like treasures and pampered like princes. Max is a “transplant,” a being from elsewhere brought to the planet to live and have sex with the women of Triton.

Will he stay with Tyla or will he demand to go back to Earth before it’s too late.

The second story picks up a month after the first. Max and Tyla have found they have an insatiable appetite for one another, but Tyla’s upbringing includes being sexually free with others. Will she allow Max the same freedom?

They reach Triton and…you’ll have to read more to find out.

I give this a solid 4. The heat level is sizzles, but the depth of the characters is sadly lacking in such a short read. I would love to see this fleshed out more and expanded into a novel that gives a more satisfying conclusion. For two short stories, it’s good however. I recommend it when you want a quick, hot read.
