Third story brings about a lot of stuff- starting from Kate Corrigan's quest to obtain means for bringing back Roger, backstories for all our characters (including Daimio, Liz, Johann), Johann's vanity and inability to control his bodily pleasures (and finally reason why he resents Daimio), introduction of mysterious Oannes society and Panya the mummy, destruction caused by the Jaguar demon and finally again Fu-Man-Chu wizard showing Liz horrendous images of the future and asking her to trust only him.

Lots of action, story is high quality as expected and accompanied by beautiful art.

Recommended to all fans of horror, arcane and especially Hellboy's universe. (

The Hellboy/BPRD team's willingness to build up their characters and then send them smashing into one another is incredibly refreshing. The artwork here is glorious - I love how weird and uncomfortable looking the Victorian cyborgs are. (Also, my print collection is finally catching up to my Comixology reading, so that's cool.) (
