I actually liked this one better than ther first one, even though I think William is quite a jerk to Emma. I like that you find out more things of what goes on in this book. ( )

Hot Hot book. A bit on the darker side. It leaves you feeling like it's going to blow up in william's face but you will have to wait until Honor & Obey to find out! I haven't read Honor thy student with is from Emma's view but I think it will be enlightening! ( )

I thought that the series couldn't possible get any worse, then I read this book. This book is Honor Student all over again, except from William's perspective. It does explain some of his over-the-top stalking behaviors. Apparently, our boy William is a creepy sociopath. Seriously, I would not be surprised if his character goes in some sort of public killing spree. Either that or all of the characters will die of alcohol poisoning from their binge-drinking ways or during DUIs, because they all seem to think that driving doesn't get impaired by drinking bottle after bottle of hard liquor.

The lack of descriptive content and transitions that plagued the first book continued into this book. The editing was just as bad, if not worse. I ended up skimming toward the end of the book because, aside from William's revelations of whack-job behavior, there wasn't really any difference in this book and its loathsome predecessor. If you're going to rewrite a book from a different character's perspective, then you might actually want to have the ability to write well enough so that the stories don't seem to be mirror images of one another.

And to think, I still have one more book from this series that I have to read--because I was dumb enough to buy the first three books without knowing anything about the series or the writer. I hope that no one else ends up being as clueless as I was. Run, don't walk, away from this book. It will only bring you boredom and pain. ( )

I picked up this book series because I really liked Teresa Mummert’s book White Trash Beautiful. If you are like me and were expecting to read a book just as moving and heart felt, well you like me were sorely disappointed. I am not saying that this book series is awful, I just find William Honor creepy and it is hard to sympathize with him. It wouldn’t bother me so much if he was placed in the proper context like not making his abusive behavior and stalking seem romantic. ( )
