This one was different. It started when the hero finds out that he was lied to about the heroine sleeping around 6 years ago. The book takes place over the next 9 months as he persuades her to forgive him and to take a chance and marry him. It would have scored higher but the focus of the book was not really on their relationship but rather on the problems that they had as a couple with his father who was the one who broke them up and who would still not accept her as his son's wife. I did like that the hero was so adamant that he was totally on the heroine's side and willing to give up everything to have her. But it lost points for things like we never even saw the scene where he finally convinces her to marry him, but rather we find out about it when he tells his father about it. I just prefer the focus, especially of an HP, to be on the couple at all times. ( ) geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
