Got this from the library as am planning a home birth with a birthing pool. The whole book is great for this - very informative - but the section describing what is actually happening with your body during labour is just superb. Should be recommended reading for all, no matter how you plan to have a baby. I feel like I will totally understand what changes are happening now - how I cope with them is yet to be seen but forewarned is fore-armed and all that... ;o) ( )
