The Final Volume in Joseph Goldstein's Satipatthana Sutta SeriesIn the words of the Buddha, the four foundations of mindfulness (the four satipatthanas) are "the direct path for the purification of beings, for the surmounting of sorrow and lamentation, for the disappearance of dukkha (suffering) and discontent, for acquiring the true method, for the realization of Nibbana." This is the third and final collection of recordings by Joseph Goldstein of his course in the Satipatthana Sutra, given at the Insight Medication Society over a three year period.
Total recording time for the full series of talks: 38 hours.
I listened over the course of 4 years. Joseph Goldstein's depth of knowledge and the clarity of his teaching is astonishing. Well worth your time for a serious study of the Buddha's teachings.
Joseph: a deep bow of respect and appreciation. ( )
