This review is for all three books as I read them back to back and they very similar.

This series is about 3 sisters who each have a form of telepathic ability. They were unaware of their true potential until recently. What starts things off is Victory Winters witnesses a murder of someone from her past which in turns results in her kidnapping. There is an evil corporation that has been doing genetic experiments on humans with canine DNA and they need Victory to help perfect it and to try and come up with something to help control some of the men that have been experimented on where its gone wrong.

The government has been trying to find out who the players are behind Biotec and enlist in a SOCOM Team to help in bringing them down. The teams members also have a few telepathic abilities and eventually the two men Victory was kidnapped to help join SOCOM in there fight.

As the three books progress we find out there is more to it than just experiments with human and canine DNA. The sisters are at the heart of things not realizing how much their parents were involved at the start before they were born.

Each story has one of the sisters and a team member from the SOCOM Team at the forefront of being in jeopardy and also as the romantic couple.

What's uncovered through the books is a huge conspiracy that's global. That is not resolved by the end of the 3rd book so I am hoping there will be more books in the future. ( )

Ms. Joanne Jaytanie debut novel is an amazing paranormal story!

Her sexy hero and strong, intelligent heroine are a perfect match for this paranormal romance.
Victory was born with ultra keen hearing. She recently discovered her ability to telepathically communicate with animals. Her telepathic link with Tristan, the hero, developed when they were first thrown together and he had posed as her lab assistant. She was kidnapped by Lawrence Braxton, CEO of Biotec. She was forced to continue her work on foreign DNA, a project that was dear to her heart. Braxton had all but destroyed her work. He injected two men with wolf DNA and forced her to lead his insane pursuit to create the perfect super soldier. If it hadn't been for Tristan and his SOCOM Team, she wouldn't be here today, nor would Morgan and Collin, the two test subjects.
I recommend everyone give this new author a try.

Chasing Victory is a delightful debut novel by first-time author Joanne Jaytanie.

Our beautiful protagonist, Victory Winters, is a veterinarian and geneticist specializing in molecular biology for Claremont Research in Poulsbo, Washington. She also has a special innate ability she keeps secret: she has almost a telepathic gift to communicate with animals. As head of her department, she’s currently researching canine DNA and its potential benefits to humans.

Then one day, Victory receives a cryptic call from Jeffrey, an old friend and colleague who she hasn’t seen or spoken to in 5 years. Like her, he’s also a veterinarian and geneticist working for a competitor company, Biotec. Jeffrey insists he needs her help and asks her to meet him in a picnic spot. But, to her horror, once there she secretly witnesses his murder.

Soon after, she’s approached by a representative of Biotec with an offer to work for them. They claim that Jeffrey is working overseas, and they want her to take his place. Though she doesn’t trust them, she decides to play along in order to investigate her friend’s murder. But things go unexpectedly wrong when instead she’s kidnapped to a secluded island and forced to do research, injecting humans with wolf DNA. Unbeknown to Victory at first, the madman CEO wants to create the perfect invincible army.

Thus, Victory is soon pulled into a vortex of intrigue, blackmail and murder. Together with the hero, Tristan Farraday, a naval officer who also has telepathic abilities and who is sent undercover to investigate Biotec’s experiments, Victory must find a way to stop the company from carrying out their horrific plans and to get out of the island alive.

This was a fun, light, entertaining read! They story is compelling and the hero and heroine sympathetic. Victory is intelligent, yet caring and sensitive. Tristan is the perfect combination, not too alpha, not too soft. The action moves at a pretty quick pace, and there’s a lot of action and romantic suspense to keep readers turning pages. One thing I especially enjoyed about this story is that the love between Victory and Tristan develops gradually and organically. I certainly look forward to reading more works from this author. Recommended for fans of paranormal romance! ( )
