Short Review: Wow. This book! Wow. That ending! I was kinda glad to see the girls getting to live some normal ish lives for awhile. Thou it didn't last long :D I can't get over how this book goes! It was so great. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. *Sigh* So good.

I understand all of the negative reviewers out there of the series. My rational side realizes some of the plot devices and circumstances have been ridiculous. However, with all of my understanding, I still have a highly irrational loyalty to this series.

So to all the haters: stop reading and leave the rest of us fans to our mutual delirium because Deadly was crazy good. So good that I read it in three hours and five minutes. Hell yes, I did.

The story is that both A's are done toying with the Liars and are now going for the jugular. How? By providing undeniable proof that Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer brutally killed Tabitha Clark in Jamaica to the Feds. Their lives are over because, if formally charged, they will be extradited to Jamaica to do their time there.

This affects all of them and their families in different ways with Emily, the most fragile of them, getting the brunt of negative fallout when her entire family shuns her. Will the Liars wilt under the pressure of defeat or rise against it and find the A's and give them an epic battle?

Deadly was really good. Shepard ushered me into a false sense of security and then bought my house of cards dfown and stomped on the remains. It's rumoured that Shepard is ending the series at book 16, which I secretly hopes she calls "Endgame," and if it's anything like she ended her addicting Lying Game series, I know I'll be satisfied. ( )
