The book also discusses portions of food groups that should be eaten. Personal reflection: I really liked this book because even though it was informational, it supplied a lot of information while holding onto the readers' attention. The use of exclamation points, periods, and the different font sizes makes it a fun book to read. The Giant is also a fun way to introduce more food groups. Class use: I would use this book in class on themes of nutrition and food to teach children the importance of eating healthy. I could use it in a text set for food and nutrition and we could discuss how to eat healthy and why it is important to eat healthy. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
