Readers who love Lori Wick's unique characters will fall in love with Hallee Bridgeman's heroes as well. The first two stories in the Jewel Anthology, Sapphire Ice and the novella Greater Than Rubies are very close as one, and actually can be bought as one book. A cozy series of novels that are a delight to read and leave a joyous, happy feeling when done. The world around me seemed brighter, and the tasks before me not as dreary. The men are super sensitive to their women, and if they for some reason fail to understand them, they know just what to say and do to make things alright. Fairy tales where happily ever after is a given is always a great way to end the day.
I was sorry when the book came to an end, and am anxiously waiting till I can sit down with the next books. I would recommend this book to everyone, with a small disclaimer, especially to younger readers – not all men are this sensitive and attune to women's wants and needs.
