Since the beginning of sports, there has always been 2 teams or more that despise each other. In this book, they discovered the reason for those violent rivalries. Up first was the Iron Bowl Alabama Roll Tide v. the Auburn Tigers. These 2 Alabama teams rival for the top spot in the NCAA SEC Conference. At one point these teams got into a disagreement and did not play for 40 years. Next was the Chicago Cubs and the ST. Louis Cardinals. One of the reasons why these teams aren't exactly friends is because of the Cubs huge losing streak and the Cardinals being the more successful team. Now for basketball one of the oldest and toughest rivalries in basketball is The Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. The reason why these sports teams hate each other is because they have been to the championship the most and the Celtics have won more championships but the Lakers have been to the finals more than Celtics.
I am a huge sports fan and I love all the sports which are mentioned in this book. I would recommend this book to all sports lovers, exciting book lovers, people who like to watch teams who play harder because they hate each other or just people who like reading a good book. If I was in charge of setting a range for this book, it would be 10 and older. The reason why I would set this age is because they would need to know what sports the author is talking and to understand the basics of rivalries.
