This is one of many in a series that explores what it might be like if humans assimilate various animals' features: teeth, noses, eyes even tails! From reindeer hair that can help you float to porcupine hair (quills!?) that keep bullies away ... the comical illustrations, along side actual animal photographs (all accompanied by informative text) will have readers laughing out loud as they consider which animal hair they might choose for themselves! This whole series is wildly popular with students. Two page spreads show a particular animal on one page with information about the characteristics of that animal's hair. It has two photographs of that animal and one additional fact. The other page is a cartoon illustration of a child with the hair of that animal on its head. There is a "if you had..." paragraph that tells what would happen if you had that hair. Kids love this book because the text is super approachable and the illustrations are hilarious. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
