Onderdeel van de reeks(en)Baseball Card Adventures (Companion 1)
A collection of baseball quotes and bloopers recounts the story of the 1912 dropped fly ball, Bill Buckner's bungling of an easy grounder in the 1986 World Series, and the most famous mistake in baseball history. Some ball players are remembered for their home runs and great plays--but imagine being famous for blowing the game. Offering play-by-play descriptions of the games, historical trivia, and lifetime statistics of key players, this book shows how life goes on even after the worst moments--and how a little mistake can sometimes make a very big difference. This book was a good read it wasn't that long which was good. It was interesting reading how these people messed up. I think how did they mess that up. I get how they did it especially in the clutch moments we all mess up in. It was good for sports fans and comedic people. It is a good conversation starter for people who are new to baseball. It was a good book for all of the moments it had. I would recommend it to anyone.
