Couldn't put the book down after each chapter. ( ) On the plus side, I found The Intern a light, fun read with an appropriately happy ending. Josie is a likeable, relatable and realistic character and I couldn't stop reading because I wanted to find out what happened to her. On the minus side, the comparison with The Devil Wears Prada - an endorsement prominently displayed on the cover - is a blessing and a curse. I find that they share too many similarities - or perhaps it's just that the story contains many well-known tropes. So it lacks the degree of freshness/ originality that I would have loved to see.
