This is a young man who as depended on the love and support of his older brother all his life. With his learning disability undiagnosed but forever affecting his life and short term memory, losing his brother is a fate worse than death. His brother is in jail for dealing drugs to support the two of them and pay for his college education. Hunter has no other choice but do everything in his power to work undercover for the police to free his brother.
Autumn is a distraction Hunter cannot afford. The chemistry and attraction between them is such that Hunter cannot control the need to be near her, protect her and love her. They are absolute opposites. Their attraction starts as a physical pull that evolves into a friendship that grows deeper they both pledge loyalty to each other.
Drugs, death, revenge, and an almost rape are a few of the obstacles in this roller coaster ride. Hunter’s life in is danger if he continues on this path. Autumn is risking hers by trying to find out what is going on in Hunter’s life.
This is an exciting and emotional story of two young adults trying to survive and make the right decisions as they stand in the brink of adulthood. (
