I liked seeing a little of the back story between the Noma and Ceil. I would recommend to anyone that has read Plus One by the same author. ( ) Noma Girl is Gigi's story; a side character in Elizabeth Fama's standalone Plus One. It is a must-read for anyone who has read already read Plus One. Gigi comes off as quite the bitch in the full story, but in this short she is the complete opposite. There isn't a thing in it that would make her out to be what she was in Plus One. It's a different side to her personality, and a lovely one. As far as the timeline goes she experiences a great romance that we unfortunately won't see again until Sol & D'Arcy. In a dystopian Chicago, the population is divided between those who live and work during the day and those who do so during the night. In this short story prequel to Fama's novel Plus One, Gigi a night girl is ordered to abduct Ciel who lives during the day but ends up falling for him in the process. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
Onderdeel van de uitgeversreeks(en)
Because of a quirk of history during the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918, present-day America is rigidly divided between people who live and work during the hours of darkness--Smudges--and those known as Rays, who populate the day. A group of Smudges called the Noma live on the fringes of society in loose tribes, preying on Smudges and Rays alike. Gigi is a ruthless Noma, but in this prequel companion story to Plus One, she is ordered to abduct a cell phone hacker named Ciel Le Coeur and reveals a surprisingly tender heart.
