Hero Jackson, and the members of the private rescue team he belongs to, are there to protect her and seek out the stalker's identity. The story never really drew me in and I didn't connect with the main characters or feel any chemistry between them. Raina kept putting herself at risk even though she knew she was in danger. I also didn't think she was in a place in her life emotionally where she should have been taking on the responsibility of raising Samuel, the little boy she had brought over to the US from Africa. Jackson seemed way too possessive of Raina after only knowing her for a brief time. I did like secondary characters Larry (Raina's elderly neighbor), and Stella (Jackson's fellow team member).
