Is it just me or is a book called "I Can Share" about every way not to share the items? This book sends a very important message to young students. As someone who works at a daycare, sharing is a big issue among children. Not being able to share causes children issues in the future. Learning how to share at a very young age helps prepare them for their next steps in their future in the real world This book also has lift-the-flap feature as "No Hitting" and it also a great affective book for younger readers and listeners. This book shows children who are selfish with their objects, activities, or friends and how to compromise on these things. For example one says, "MY BIKE! You can't ride it." and on the next page, "Bt maybe... (open the flap) I'll take you for a ride." It continues to show example where someone approaches them wanting to share but the main child being stubborn and selfish. The book never shows the main child having to give up their thing (in a win lose situation) but where they both choose a way to have equal fun (win win). geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
